An Autistic Child Rides A Buffalo As Part Of A Therapy Project By The Thai Government

Buffalo used for autism therapy

It was way back in December 2012 that we first heard about buffalo being used for therapy for autistic children.

The youngsters sit on the rescued farm animals while being led around a field on the half-a-tonne beasts.

Some kids – painfully withdrawn beforehand – can even muster a gentle trot while clinging to the animal’s horns.

Thankfully, we were finally able to produce a lovely feature and photographs about the project that was featured in the Daily Mail.
